TV LICENCES NATIONAL SHOPPING VOUCHER COMPETITION

Date Valid: The competition runs from 17 June 2016 to 31 July 2016.

COMPETITION RULES

  
  1. The competition is open to all South African citizens with a valid household Television Licence (even if the Television Licence accounts are handed to Debt Collectors), except directors, members, partners, employees, agents, service providers and consultants of the SABC, as well as any SABC employee including agencies, UIP and/or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates.
  2. To enter the competition, you must renew your existing TV Licence or purchase a new TV Licence at an approved TV Licences retailer.
  3. The prize is one of thirty couch experiences to the value of R30,000 in furniture as shown in the television commercial known as the “TV Licences Olympics couch experiences competition advertising” consisting of (a) Television; (b) Surround Sound System and (c) a couch or recliner to the total value or combined value of R30,000.
  4. Entrants do so at their own volition.
  5. Only entries with a zero Rand or credit balance (fully paid up Television Licence accounts) will be considered for the draw.
  6. Correct entries received by the advertised deadlines will be considered for the draw. Any late entries received will not be taken into consideration.
  7. Only winners will be contacted by the SABC to verify the following: name, surname, valid driver’s licence, valid Television licence number, ID number and address. Winners will be announced on the website www.tvlic.co.za and some selected TV Licence correspondence letters after 21 working days of the close of the competition.
  8. Winners, who are not contactable by phone, after the closing date/time, will be disqualified and a new winner will be drawn.
  9. The SABC and its agents accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or corrupted entries. The SABC and its agents are not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
  10. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The SABC or its agents will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prize awards.
  11. Prizes are not transferable, and cannot be deferred or exchanged.
  12. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or a cash value or cash portion of the prize value.
  13. Winners use prizes at own risk. The SABC and its agents shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize/s.
  14. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
  15. The SABC and its agents reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
